Friends of CC schools have a 100% opt-in connection to the CC community. They do not attend the CC Quarterly Meetings (which are gatherings of practitioners in the Living Lab, Active Membership, and Mastery Incubator) and receive no per session funding from the CC Program.
This is a way to stay connected and have access to many CC offerings. Friends of CC may be a way to explore competency/CRSE in a low-stakes way, or for schools with limited bandwidth to plug in as best fits their needs.
Friends of CC can connect with CC in these ways:
receive the CC monthly newsletter
Opt in for CC PD opportunities such as visits to schools and intro sessions
Attend CC Summer Institute (NOTE: Space is prioritized for educators from CC member schools; we’re happy to have guests if space allows.)
